POST 12: MY WARM UP

My warm up is attached to this link. I use a cardio section followed by dynamic then static stretches then dance lesson specific movements.

My observations have shown that at the beginning of class command teaching styles can be effective if ability is low. However, during a command led warm up students at the back of class can become less engaged. For this reason, my video clip and photos show guided discovery techniques present in the video clip to facilitate fuller movement and engaged dancers.
