I have listened to the approaches of Scott and Keith in their presentations.

Scott’s powerpoint was more simplistic then my own both in content and delivery. Decluttering the presentation allowed a more reflective response. I felt that the depth of his presentation was more of an overview than my own and this allowed his thoughts to be clearer. His presentation was most effective as he related to other aspects of the course and how they linked with his study. His opinions were honest and related to his practice.

Keith’s powerpoint had a clear structure. I liked the link focusing on the student, teacher and national approach. He did not cover all the areas suggested. The sound cut off in Keith’s presentation so I do not know what happened next!

Both decided on a qualitative approach so a different approach to my mixed methods. This allowed greater focus on the opinions of students and staff on current issues and policies. There was a strong link between their enquiry and their practice.

Different issues but both highly relevant.
